#GIRLPOWER fuses yoga and community to meet the unique needs of tween girls.
Physical yoga practice empowers yogis to build strength and self confidence, while mindfulness and breathing exercises are taught as tools to balance the nervous system and reduce stress.
Journaling, art, and group discussion offer opportunities for increased self awareness, self expression and group connection. We will explore topics like self-esteem, friendship, gratitude and self-care throughout the week. Yogis will create a yoga journal, along with other yoga inspired crafts and mindfulness tools to sustain their yoga practices post-camp.
Camp is for girls only, ages 9-14.
Girls should dress comfortably and bring a re-usable water bottle and yoga mat.
