#GIRLPOWER Girls Yoga Camp

#GIRLPOWER fuses yoga and community to meet the unique needs of tween girls.

Physical yoga practice empowers yogis to build strength and self confidence, while mindfulness and breathing exercises are taught as tools to balance the nervous system and reduce stress.

Journaling, art, and group discussion offer opportunities for increased self awareness, self expression and group connection. We will explore topics like self-esteem, friendship, gratitude and self-care throughout the week. Yogis will create a yoga journal, along with other yoga inspired crafts and mindfulness tools to sustain their yoga practices post-camp.

Camp is for girls only, ages 9-14.

Girls should dress comfortably and bring a re-usable water bottle and yoga mat.

REGISTER by JULY 3rd/ $130 per yogi, $140 after.

OASIS KIDS Yoga Camp

Join Megan Davis, Certified Children's Yoga Teacher, for our first ever CAMP YOGA! This 3 hour yoga "camp" offers a safe space for kiddos to explore, connect, grow, learn and restore through yoga and mindfulness practices.

In honor of the Summer Solstice, camp activities will be inspired by rhythms and rituals found in nature and outer space, as we connect to our inner sun {true self}.
Our day will include yoga poses, breathing practices, yoga inspired games and group activities, art/music exercises and relaxation/mindfulness meditation practices...along with lots of fun!

Yoga is a wonderful tool to help children build self awareness, positive body image and tools for stress management, in addition to the physical benefits that accompany any yoga practice!

Suggested for children ages 6-11.
Children should dress comfortably. Please bring a re-usable water bottle and yoga mat.

Chaturanga Workshop

Join Mike as he guides you through deepening your understanding of one of the foundational postures in Vinyasa yoga:
CHATURANGA DANDASANA
(aka Four Limbed Staff pose or low plank). 

Learn proper alignment, safety, and modifications for chaturanga while building arm, shoulder, and backbody strength. Chaturanga is a major building block to more advanced postures, arm balances, and inversions. This pose can be sustainable and attainable for all through knowledge of alignment & modifications that will keep you practicing yoga for LIFE.

Some experience with Vinyasa yoga is recommended.

We come together again and again. Chanting names of the Divine together. We can sense the Oneness when we practice this in a collective way. Kirtan is a call and response chant practice that will bring us into our hearts. No experience necessary!

Have fun hanging and floating as you work up a sweat in this highly aerobic anti-gravity workshop. Experience poses, backbends and inversions weightlessly while hanging in the hammocks. You will get in touch with your deep core muscles during strength focused exercises. Inversions allow you to release and traction your spine and deeply stretch into your hips.

Slow Burn Workshop w/ Boo

Join Boo for a three-part slow burn series this summer. Steady movement, long postures holds, and deep breathing define "slow burn" yoga, a moderately strenuous form of vinyasa that truly embodies "meditation in movement". 

Participants will practice for ninety minutes in a heated room. Take one, two, or all three!
